Some highlights of this fall.

individually and collectively, we are the opposite of normal

i turned 21...melissa and kyle had me over again for my 3rd birthday at their house.
we went apple picking...june loves "jeps"
i saw an amazing double rainbow...also i love the view of the town from my backdoor.
little mason howell was born.
jeff and i dressed up...and hung out a lot.
went to the beach with my family...if i had a picture with them i'd post that...but i don't.
we went to dave's for jenny's 21st birthday...and took a picture with the waiter. classic.
we failed at making gingerbread houses.
we had a highrise christmas party.
we did a highrise secret santa

Mason Howell
Emily and Seth had their first little boy, Mason Howell, this past Sunday, October 23. Em is doing great and was home just hours after the delivery! I got to drive down with Melissa and Kyle on Sunday to see them and the little one. Mason is absolutely precious and I am just so excited to have a new nephew! Congratulations Em and Seth!
beautiful emily!

Veritas
On Saturday, Jeff took me to Veritas Vineyards out in Charlottesville. It was the perfect fall day!
Ze choice wine.
Pondering.
Not pondering.
Virtually the same picture.
Gandalf taught me how to call Shadowfax to me. It's a complicated whistle.
Taming Shadowfax.
Speaking to Shadowfax.
(sometimes I'd rather live in fictional stories)
Pictures are lame.
But who can resist one more?
October 20th National Brandied Fruit Day
I decided to look up who else shares my birthday...these are my findings:
Pauline Bhorgese: the sister of Napolean Bonaparte...kind of cool.
Snoop Dog: skeevy rapper....not cool.
Christiane Nüsslein-Volhard: discovered the embryonic development of fruit flies...fascinating.
Cheers!
HighRise Sisters!
This is William.
This is William. He is a 2 year old heartache with blonde hair and blue eyes. And I love him.
William likes to play.
William likes to eat, he even likes to eat rocks. (and carpet, and baseballs, and shoes, and my finger)
William likes to swing.
Most of all, William likes Jeff. And I get jealous.
I Am Going to Get Caught UP!
I realize I am out of date and no longer probably on your Google Reader. Bummer.
I have slight obsession with organization and doing things in order...thus I haven't updated my blog because my next post was supposed to be on my college room (before and after pictures). Except I haven't finished my college room yet....as in there are still complete strangers with a price tag on their face in the frame on my dresser. I've grown quite fond of them over the past two months, they are so joyful.
Except, now its just getting a little ridiculous and things to blog about are beginning to pile up. There are many times a day I think..."Oh, I should blog those thoughts..." but then I realize I MUST blog in order and that cute little unknown couple is still in the 8x10 frame on my dresser and that just stresses me out. Thus, my blog has been neglected.
But, if I ever want to get anything done I realize that I just need to do it. So...don't mind the next few random and out of order posts. Even if they make no sense...its therapeutic for me to get these pictures on the internet. Talk about 21st century problems....
